#TBT Stick Welding Repair – 1970s

In this image from the early 1970s, we see a fabricator performing a Stick Weld joint on a tubular assembly support. Due to advances in MIG and TIG welding, we do not use Stick type welding in our shop anymore as it’s not conducive to Fabrication in a shop environment in comparison to other available methods.
