When it comes time to select the proper fittings for your pipeline, you might want to check how readily available the fittings are.

Even though something like a 8×3.5 SCH 40 Reducing Pipe Tee is listed in a catalog, it doesn’t mean it’s readily available, or affordable.

For example: A customer recently requested us to use a 6×4 SCH 10 BW Reducing Elbow in their design.  This fitting would have had added 6 week lead time and 3x the cost of having a separate elbow and concentric reducer, with only one additional weld.

The best way to check material availability on the fittings you’d like to use is just to check with your local pipe fitting supplier.

We would be happy to review your design with you and determine if there are any ways to decrease lead time or cost.
