Pressure Vessels
Ability Engineering Technology is a fully certified
ASME Code Section VIII shop. Whether you have a design to be fabricated
or need a vessel to be designed and fabricated, Ability Engineering
Technology, Inc. has the qualified staff to handle all of your vessel
needs.
Pressure
Vessels, Reactors, Mixers & Vacuum Driers
Ability Engineering Technology is
active in the design and manufacture of many types of reactor vessels
for the pilot plant industry. We have extensive experience in the design
of reactors for a wide range of temperatures and pressures. We have
built reactors in salt baths, in fluidized upflow sandbaths and for
heating mantels. Try us for your next reactor requirement. We are conversant
in all inconel materials, hastalloy, titanium and zirconium as well
as the numerous forms of heat resistant stainless steel and other nickel
alloys. Pictured here are some of the reactors we have built. We cover
pressures up to 10,000 psi and temperatures up to 1800°F (not concurrently).
The vessels we build range in size from ½"
to several feet in diameter. They include vessels with agitators and
stirrers multiple thermowells and viewports. Ability Engineering is
an ASME Code shop and employs only certified welders with a minimum
of 6 years experience.
Our abilities in the design of pressure vessels
is unsurpassed. We are an ASME Code shop, we have the capability to
take your project from concept to complete part. We can incorporate
observation ports and stirrers, mixers and integral drain valves. The
vessels we supply can be internally polished for food and pharmaceutical
service.
Ability Engineering can provide engineering and
manufacturing services for your prototype equipment. We are fabricators
as well as engineers, our designs are approached from the viewpoint
of a manufacturer. Unlike design firms that do only engineering, we
design for manufacturing. We have many years of practical experience
building every conceivable type of equipment. That experience, and the
fact that engineering is in the middle of the manufacturing facility,
allows constant feedback to our designers from the machinists and welders.
We would be happy to quote
your next difficult reaction vessel.
